Privacy policy

Typemoss provides Easy MOQ, a Shopify app that lets merchants configure minimum order quantities and quantity increments. This policy explains how Easy MOQ handles information when a merchant installs and uses the app.

Information we process

• Shop information: the merchant’s Shopify shop domain and Shopify-issued authentication session.
• Configuration information: Shopify product identifiers and titles for products configured in Easy MOQ.
• Quantity rules: minimum and increment values saved to an app-owned Shopify product metafield.
• Operational information: limited service logs used to diagnose errors, secure the service, and maintain availability.

Easy MOQ does not request or store customer records, order records, payment details, or buyer contact information.

How we use information

We process this information only to authenticate the merchant, display and enforce configured quantity rules, apply the selected product limit, provide support, prevent misuse, and operate Easy MOQ.

Where information is stored

Quantity rules are stored in the merchant’s Shopify store. App sessions and the configured-product index are stored in an access-controlled Cloudflare D1 database. Shopify and Cloudflare process information under their own security and privacy terms as service providers supporting Easy MOQ.

Retention and deletion

Easy MOQ retains app sessions and its configured-product index while the app is installed. When Shopify notifies Easy MOQ that the app has been uninstalled or that shop data must be redacted, those records are deleted. Shopify-hosted app data is managed according to Shopify’s app lifecycle.

Sharing

We do not sell merchant or buyer information. We share information only with Shopify and Cloudflare as needed to provide the app, where required by law, or to protect the rights and security of merchants, buyers, Typemoss, and the service.

Security

Easy MOQ uses HTTPS, Shopify authentication, restricted app scopes, access-controlled infrastructure, and Shopify-hosted extensions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we process.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
